Tracking 47 GMGN smart money and KOL wallets on Solana for 30 days to 8 Oct 2026 gives 38 green wallets and a median realized profit of about $6,100. The best of them made $84,101. One Fomo trader, frank, realized $863,301 in the same window, and Banana Gun turns a tracked wallet into a copy trade you size yourself.
A whale tracker reports trades after they happen, so the wallet you pick matters more than the alert. Most of the top wallets on the list trade thousands of times a month, which is a problem for anyone copying by hand or by bot.
Banana Gun is a Telegram trading bot that takes a wallet address and copies it with your own size and exit.
What does a crypto whale tracker show you?
GMGN, Cielo, Nansen and Arkham are wallet trackers. Banana Gun Pro, the web terminal, has wallet tracking and a Watchlist widget. For how a Telegram bot compares with web terminals, see this Telegram bot vs web terminal comparison.
Each reports a trade that already happened. A tracker alert arrives after the trade it reports, and a copy fill lands after that. If you want to track a wallet on-chain, plan for the gap instead of pretending it is not there.
The top 7 smart money wallets on GMGN this month
Highest 30-day realized profits on GMGN’s smart-money and KOL lists for Solana, pulled 8 Oct 2026. Handles are GMGN’s labels, not verified identities.
- 8MaVa9kdt3NW4Q5HyNAm1X5LbR8PQRVDc1W8NMVK88D5: +$84,101, 24.5% return, 7,399 buys / 3,125 sells. GMGN shows the X handle @daumenxyz and tags it both “kol” and “wash_trader”.
- 72NWWbchKdRJKvhG6U4f9363psUttkeEkE4yk15imy8u: +$52,956, 2.0% return, 40,697 buys / 40,696 sells.

- DjiJKVgtS3MrR9VasbQWMMZUpB4zsbipeKUJR1YLw91r (@Makenfn on GMGN): +$44,551, 1.5% return, 9,717 buys / 10,832 sells.
- 4gG4V4iPrwfimbmG3ZzMLKJx8ursKxB8dkfW4PbiLjDa: +$31,607, 5.4% return, 5,401 buys / 9,249 sells.

Return is realized profit divided by cost, as GMGN reports it. Across all 47 wallets, 38 were green over 30 days.
Why is the top smart money wallet a bad one to copy?
GMGN tags the number one wallet both “kol” and “wash_trader”. A wallet that may be trading against itself tells you little about what a follower would earn.
The second wallet placed 40,697 buys and 40,696 sells for a 2.0% return. A pace like that is unlikely to be one person clicking, and a copy setup cannot follow it.
A copied buy lands after the wallet’s own, so on a fast move your price is worse. Thousands of trades a month means that gap piles up.
The “Spending Limit” setting caps what a copy trade can spend per wallet, and trades above it fail.
Smart money wallets or one Fomo trader: which should you copy?
The one Fomo trader here is frank (@frankdegods on Fomo, a self-custodial social trading app). His all-time Fomo profile shows 280K followers, 7.3K trades, $3.5M PnL and $63M volume, per Fomo Wallet Finder on 30 Sep 2026.
His Solana address is 498g1rVnFcnjBjpfw1xyqA1WvgQXUU8RWuELjxkjAayQ. On GMGN over the 30 days to 8 Oct 2026 he realized +$863,301 at GMGN’s reported 16.6% return, with 702 buys and 736 sells, $4.46M bought and $6.06M sold. His last 7 days: +$291,059.
His 30-day profit is about 10 times the best wallet on the smart-money and KOL lists. 702 buys in a month is a lighter load for a copy setup than the 40,697 of the second smart-money wallet.
Among Fomo’s 7 biggest wallets, 5 were green over 30 days and 2 red on GMGN. On GMGN, TheSolstice was at +$195,722 over 30 days and -$43,525 over the last 7.
point farm capital placed 21,179 buys in 30 days and lost $303,240. The more people copy a wallet, the further behind your fill lands.
How to copy a tracked whale with a Telegram trading bot
Open Banana Gun and tap “Copy Trading” in the start menu, or send /copytrade. Choose “New Copy Trade”, paste the wallet address, add a description, select your wallets and toggle “Inactive” to “Active”.
Banana Gun is a Telegram trading bot, so all of this happens in chat. Set these limits for a busy wallet:
- Buy Fixed: the same SOL amount every time, for example 0.5 SOL.
- Max Market Cap: the docs example is $500K, so a buy at $600K does not copy, winners included.
- Buy Only Once: after your first buy, the token is blocked for 7 days.
- Spending Limit: the total per wallet.
Turn “Copy Sells” off for your own exit, then use “Setup Limit Order”: Take Profit at +300% (4x) on 80% of tokens.
On a 0.5 SOL buy that is about 1.6 SOL back before fees and slippage, with about 0.4 SOL left. Add a Trailing Stop Loss on the rest.
A take-profit that is never reached never sells, so pair it with a stop loss. The Banana Gun docs also warn that some target wallets buy pump-and-dumps and use copy traders as exit liquidity. Scan a wallet’s recent trades first.
