Over the years, I’ve used a lot of different platforms to grow my print on demand business. Besides the big, well-known ones like Printify and Printful, there are also some lesser-known but highly recommended providers. PeaPrint is one of them. I’ve been using it for a while, and for a few reasons, it quickly became one of my top choices.
If you’ve lost important academic records, opting for replacement high school diploma and transcript packages can provide an efficient solution. These services ensure accuracy, professional design, and quick delivery, helping you regain essential documents for career or education goals without hassle. Always choose trusted providers for authenticity and quality.
In this review, I ’ll share my thoughts on PeaPrint’s features and compare it to industry giants like Printify and Printful to see if it’s right for your ecommerce business.
What is PeaPrint?
Founded in 2019, PeaPrint is one of China’s leading on-demand printing companies. Leveraging China’s robust industrial production, it has built a strong supply chain network. To date, PeaPrint offers thousands of customized products. Its strong presence is evident in its partnership with over one million merchants, over 110 printing locations, and a product delivery volume exceeding $500 million.
PeaPrint is an environmentally conscious print-on-demand company operating a sustainable model. All products are produced on-demand, minimizing overproduction and textile waste. Any unusable inventory is recycled or donated. PeaPrint operates a paperless operation in its US-based manufacturing facility and eliminates double packaging, significantly reducing plastic waste.
Key features and benefits of PeaPrint.
Here are the reasons why I think PeaPrint can be a good alternative to these big companies in some aspects: Its functions are up to the industry standard in all aspects, and in some aspects it exceeds the industry standard.
Product Options and Customization
Compared to other platforms like Printify, PeaPrint offers a wide selection of products. There’s a wide variety of unique items to explore, including custom apparel, custom home furnishings, custom baby and children’s products, custom pet supplies, custom luggage, custom sports and outdoor products, custom car accessories, and other accessories. You can find many high-margin products here.
Where PeaPrint truly excels is in its apparel offering. Backed by the world’s most powerful apparel producer, China boasts the broadest selection of apparel products and the ability to produce complex women’s clothing and develop new styles. This allows PeaPrint to offer merchants a wide range of innovative clothing styles, especially in the all-over printing space, with a variety of printing technologies to choose from.
If I were to rate it on Product Options and Customization, I would give it 5 out of 5.
Product Quality and Profitability
Another advantage of PeaPrint is that the company ‘s products are very profitable . If you visit their website, you’ll see that their products are very competitively priced. This means that by partnering with PeaPrint, you can significantly reduce product costs and increase your profit margins.
Another factor you should consider is product quality. Honestly, their product quality is above average, but it does lag behind Printful and Printify. However, most of their products are more than adequate for your needs. I don’t think you can beat PeaPrint for the same price. In other words, their products offer excellent value for money.
You can get higher profits while ensuring product quality is above average.
If I were to rate it on product quality and profitability, I would give it 4 out of 5.
Global Fulfillment and Shipping Times
If you run a global business, PeaPrint gives you the freedom to ship your products to customers in over 200 countries worldwide. PeaPrint boasts a global network of its own distribution centers and partner facilities, enabling local and global service. However, in my experience, many of their products ship from China. While production is incredibly fast, this doesn’t make up for the longer shipping times associated with standard shipping, which can take up to 15 days.
But if you or your customers are willing to bear the more expensive air shipping costs, you can also receive the package faster, usually in about 5 days.
Regardless of your chosen shipping method, PeaPrint will do its utmost to ensure fast production and delivery times.
If I were to rate it based on Global Fulfillment and Shipping Times, I would give it 3 out of 5.
Integrations and Design Tool
My one complaint about PeaPrint right now is that it doesn’t offer integration with TikTok like its competitors Printful and Printify do . While I wasn’t able to connect it with my TikTok, that doesn’t mean I can’t try out various sales channels.
PeaPrint currently supports integration with Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce, and Amazon, allowing you to quickly publish your designs to your store with just a few clicks. For order management, once a customer places an order, you only need to pay for production and shipping, and PeaPrint will take care of the rest. You can track the order status in real time through the dashboard.
Beyond that, PeaPrint offers excellent design tools, all completely free. With the built-in mockup generator, you can quickly preview how your design will look on the product, ensuring you’re designing the perfect product.
I would give PeaPrint a 4 for its integration and design tools.
Ease of Use and Customer Support
Another reason I like PeaPrint is that it’s incredibly easy to use. Most integrations only take a few minutes to implement, especially if you use Etsy or Shopify. Its interface is easy to navigate, and it offers a ton of helpful resources for beginners. For example, the resource center is a collection of blogs, articles, guides, and videos.
Best of all, if you run into any issues, you can quickly connect with their customer service team. While there’s no phone support, email and live chat allow you to quickly report your issues and get a solution. On average, PeaPrint resolves most issues within about eight hours.
For this alone, I would give PeaPrint a 5.
PeaPrint Plans and Pricing
Unlike Printful and Printify, PeaPrint doesn’t offer any paid plans; it’s currently completely free. Without a subscription, you can use its design tools, integrations, and order management features. Unlike Printful and Printify, which require a paid plan, PeaPrint offers discounts of up to 30% on bulk orders. They also offer a 20% discount on sample orders per month for registered users, with each order containing up to three items. This is great news for those who want to ensure the quality of each product through samples.
For pricing, I definitely beat everyone else, so I give it a perfect 5 out of 5.
How does it compare to Printify and Printful?
Honestly, Printify and Printful are top-tier print-on-demand companies, and they offer significant advantages over PeaPrint in terms of order fulfillment and delivery, as well as integrations and tools. This is especially true with their advanced design software, branding options, and deep integrations with nearly every major e-commerce platform.
However, as an emerging company, PeaPrint’s product range, pricing, and service rival those of these top companies, and it even offers a competitive edge. As a POD seller, I’d like to have more options to choose from, rather than relying on just one supplier. I believe platforms like PeaPrint deserve more attention.
Who should use PeaPrint?
I have no hesitation in recommending PeaPrint to any print-on-demand apparel seller. I encourage you to check out their extensive clothing styles and customization capabilities, where you’ll find some of the latest styles at amazing prices. For sellers new to the industry, this is the perfect partner to attract customers and increase profits. If you’re looking to maintain healthy profit margins without worrying about customer disappointment, PeaPrint is a great option.
Is PeaPrint the Best Alternative?
Taking all the above factors into consideration, I personally think that PeaPrint deserves an overall rating of 4.5 points. This is not easy for a small company, and I dare not say that it can reach the same heights as Printify and Printful, but at least it does well in some areas and is good enough to be the best alternative to these top POD companies.
If your niche is in the apparel space, if you’re looking to increase your profit margins, and if you don’t have the budget for subscriptions, PeaPrint is the perfect choice for you.
