Questflow, a platform orchestrating AI agents for the emerging multi-agent economy, has secured $6.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by CyberFund and included participation from Delphi Labs, Systemic Ventures, Eden Block, White Star Capital, Web3.com, Animoca Brands, HashKey Capital, Wagmi Ventures, ElizaOS, the Tezos Foundation, and CatcherVC. The company also received grants from Aptos, Coinbase Developer Platform, and Virtuals Protocol.
The funding will help Questflow advance its mission of creating an always-on, on-chain AI workforce that automates workflows for individuals and businesses while preserving human oversight for critical tasks.
Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol Enables Seamless AI Collaboration
Questflow’s core technology is the Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol (MAOP), which allows multiple AI agents to coordinate, communicate, and execute workflows directly on-chain. By connecting otherwise isolated AI systems, MAOP makes it possible for agents to work together efficiently while ensuring that humans remain in control of sensitive decisions.
“Our vision is to create an AI agent economy that can power any workflow,” said Bob Xu, co-founder and CEO of Questflow. “From solo entrepreneurs to large enterprise teams, everyone should have access to a reliable and transparent AI workforce that operates around the clock.”
Breaking Down AI Silos with Task and Token Orchestration
Most AI agents today are siloed and disconnected from blockchain networks. Questflow addresses this through two orchestration layers.
Task orchestration enables AI swarms to handle complex, multi-step workflows across Web2 tools like Google Workspace, Notion, and Airtable, as well as Web3 dApps and protocols.
Token orchestration provides each AI agent with an on-chain wallet, enabling agent-to-agent micropayments and real-time transactions, turning AI agents into active participants in a decentralized economy.
Early Traction and Expanding Partnerships
Questflow has already gained recognition within the AI and blockchain communities, being featured by a16z, Cohere, and MongoDB. It was also selected for Google for Startups and named Product of the Day on Product Hunt.
The company is growing its partner ecosystem, which includes Google, Coinbase Developer Platform, Circle, Aptos, Near, CoinGecko, and Jambo Phone, bridging Web2 and Web3 environments for broader adoption.
The AI Workforce Flywheel
Questflow’s on-chain flywheel supports the growth of a scalable AI agent economy through four stages:
- Create – Developers and creators can build, deploy, and monetize AI swarms using a no-code editor and SDK, each linked to an on-chain wallet.
- Use – End users can deploy these swarms to automate workflows while retaining oversight for critical decisions.
- Pay – Real-time, transparent micropayments ensure instant compensation for AI agents.
- Tokenize – Communities can launch and govern AI swarms through tokenization, enabling collective ownership and participation.
“Providing AI agents with wallets is just the first step,” Xu explained. “The real innovation is enabling agents to collaborate, transact, and earn autonomously, creating a self-sustaining AI workforce economy.”
Scaling the Future of AI Collaboration
With new funding, Questflow will enhance its orchestration capabilities, introduce ecosystem incentives, and open the MAOP protocol to developers and partners for diverse real-world use cases.
As AI and blockchain converge, Questflow is well-positioned to connect isolated AI systems and enable anyone to deploy on-chain AI workforces that combine the reliability of software with the adaptability of human teams.
By enabling permissionless creation, coordination, and monetization of AI agents, Questflow is laying the groundwork for a decentralized AI Agent Economy where intelligent agents can collaborate, transact, and generate value autonomously.
